GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Diamond Certificate offers you the best grading and most protection for your special investment. The GIA is the most reputable laboratory out there and is in fact the founder of the Diamond 4Cs Grading that all the other laboratories are using. GIA prepares the strictest natural diamond certification out there. So, there is no question that the diamond grade on your certificate is the actual quality of your stone. For Lab Grown Diamonds, IGI (International Gemological Institute) is the most reputable laboratory to grade man-made diamonds. IGI was the first to debut certification for man-made diamonds 16 years ago. Today, they remain the most comprehensive certification for Lab Diamonds, including the individual growth process of the CVD or HPHT stone. They will also indicate, specifically, stones as either “as grown with no indication of post-growth treatment.” or as “may include post-growth treatment.”

The more you know, the easier you can distinguish between an ordinary stone and an exceptional one. Understanding the Basics of the 4C’s (Colour, Clarity, Cut & Carat) as well as Fluorescence is a key on the subject of selecting and purchasing a diamond. A slight variation in its specifications (despite having the same 4Cs) can change drastically its value, its rarity and its quality. We also generally recommend Hearts & Arrows Cut to all our Clients. H&A is a highly sought for Ideal Diamond which ensure the best brilliance and sparkle, even a 3 Excellent Cut Diamond does not guarantee an Ideal Cut. H&A Diamonds can cost an additional 10-15%, that's why many Jewelers do not mention it. All Loose Diamonds purchased from us will come with a GIA or IGI Certificate. Generally a Diamond larger than 0.50 Carat will come with a Certificate for our fashion jewellery pieces. Smaller than 0.50 Carat Diamonds can come with a Certificate upon request.

A diamond certificate certifies the authenticity, integrity and grades of your diamond. Diamond certification is a process where an unbiased independent gem lab tests and assesses the quality of a diamond. The lab issues a written report about the diamond. Each report has its own number which is kept on file at the gem lab and a copy is sent back with the diamond. A GIA or IGI certified diamonds includes a microscopic laser inscription of their certification number on the outer edge of the diamond (i.e. at its girdle).

Due to the fluctuations in the diamonds & gold market, prices listed in our Detailed Quotations may only be valid for 7 days only. New quotations and processing times may be issued if confirmation for order cannot be made within this timeframe.

Rush orders are possible for certain designs subject to availability. For basic designs, we may be able to expedite our production time and deliver within 1 to 2 weeks, subject to our staffing and holidays. If you have a tight schedule to meet and need to request for a Rush Order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can see what we can do to assist you!

We operate on a made-to-order basis, meaning every jewellery piece is created one of a kind for you. Orders can be placed directly by adding products from our Website into the Order List or contacting us directly using the Contact Form at the bottom of our Website. After receiving your Order Requests, we will reissue you a Detailed Quotation based on your requirements and specifics within 2 working days with expected time of delivery clearly stated. Upon receiving your Payment, we will issue you an Order Confirmation email together with an assigned order number to your registered email address, generally within 2 working days of your payment. Our craftsman starts production immediately once the order is confirmed. Simpler classical designs are generally packed & dispatched within 3 to 5 working weeks. Designer pieces will take between 4 to 6 working weeks. Bespoke pieces may take between 6 to 8 working weeks, depending on the design complexity.

All of our designs are highly customizable. Jewellery items that are not marked any prices are usually bespoke items that vary greatly in prices depending on the centerstone material, centerstone size or ring finger size. Yes, you will be given the opportunity to create a personalized gift message on the checkout page. The message will arrive together with your gift package. Every item is engraved with "750" (indicating 18K Gold) and the Carat Weight of gemstones, if applicable.

Yes, Fresh Recollection is pleased to offer complimentary engraving services for all of our Wedding Bands, while other personalized engraving for other pieces is available for an additional HKD100. Items ordered may be engraved with up to 3 letters for pendants and 15 characters including spaces for rings and bangles. Engraving will be done in uppercase letters and engraved in the underside of the jewellery piece unless otherwise requested. Unfortunately, we cannot engrave small punctuations such as "." due to legibility. Click here for a full list of our Engraving Fonts. For those who are more Environmentally Conscious, Lab Grown Diamonds are a more sustainable choice as its impact to our environment is much less. While not all Lab Grown Diamonds are sustainable, depending on the efforts of the factory, all of our Lab Grown Diamonds above 0.50 Carat will also carry a Sustainable Verification Certificate.
